MOT tester, Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled technician with strong hands-on workshop experience who can confidently carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT preparation/repair work to a high standard across a wide range of vehicles.

The successful applicant must be capable of both mechanical fault diagnosis and engine diagnostics and should be confident carrying out timing belt replacements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on all makes and models
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Carry out engine diagnostics using diagnostic equipment
• Replace timing belts and carry out major repair work
• Perform MOT preparation and repairs to a high standard
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements
• Maintain accurate job records and paperwork
• Communicate professionally with customers both face-to-face and over the phone
• Follow workshop health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Strong mechanical diagnosis and engine diagnostic skills
• Experience with servicing and MOT repairs
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence essential
